Meet our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Camille Concepcion
Camille is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University in California and her Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue Global University.
With more than 15 years of patient care experience, Camille has cared for individuals and families across a wide range of healthcare settings, including emergency nursing, COVID-19 pandemic response, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), outpatient psychiatry, travel nursing, and concierge nursing. Her experience supporting patients through psychiatric crises and severe mental illness has provided a strong foundation in crisis intervention, comprehensive psychiatric assessment, and the treatment of complex mental health conditions.
A meaningful part of her work is with high-achieving adults—professionals, executives, graduate students, entrepreneurs, healthcare workers, and others who may appear to be doing well by every external measure while privately feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, burned out, or simply not quite like themselves. After living and working in major cities such as New York and Los Angeles, Camille chose to settle down in California's Sierra Nevada foothills, where she discovered the peace and close-knit communities of mountain living. That journey inspired her passion for providing thoughtful, personalized psychiatric care, especially to people seeking a slower, more connected way of life.
Camille completed her advanced PMHNP clinical training in Yosemite National Park and the surrounding foothill communities. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, mother, first-generation Filipino immigrant, multicultural family member, and rural mountain community member, she understands that every person's story is shaped by their health, family, relationships, culture, work, and life experiences. She also understands the unique weight that can come with intergenerational expectations, cultural identity, and learning to navigate more than one world at once. She is committed to creating a welcoming, culturally responsive environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for.
Camille takes a holistic, biopsychosocial approach, partnering with each individual to develop a personalized treatment plan that supports long-term wellness, resilience, and meaningful change.
